Porn in the app store – it’s official.

2509855535_4bc49283f5.jpgWe at Tech Digest are good, honest, well-mannered folk. We’re certainly not advocates of anything naughty. Sure, we may have reported on porn in the past but that doesn’t make us bad people. We just want you, dear readers, to have a full understanding of everything that’s going on in the world of tech. And sometimes that involves porn-based reporting. Such is life. One such story is doing the rounds today and we feel it’s our duty to tell you all about it. With the new iPhone 3.0 firmware offering more stringent parental controls it appears as if Apple are loosening the restrictions of more risqué apps appearing in the app store. If parents are able to restrict their kid’s content, it seems, then there’s no reason to restrict content for consenting adults. An app that has been available for a while now, Hottest Girls, has today received an update in line with the lighter guidelines. Now instead of lingerie and cover ups there is full blown nudity. Now readers, we’re not suggesting in any way that we’re pleased about this but clearly we’re not as enraged as The Daily Mail is. It was only a matter of time before the app store featured some more, shall we say, spicy content. After all, some people even suggest that is what the internet is here for anyway.
