Resting all rumours Garmin has finally announced its latest GPS navigation christened Garmin Dakota 10 and Dakota 20. The handy GPS navigators with 2.6” display screen also offers worldwide base maps, kaleidoscopic touchscreen, GPS receiver with sharp sensitivity quotient and 20 hours of battery life. The petite, waterproof Garmin’s Dakota series GPS systems trace and manage satellite signals even in remote areas and feeble weather conditions. The HotFix TM receivers have the calibre to count and record satellite data and information and optimally utilize it in tracing position.
With 850 MB internal memory that saves 2000 geocaches, 1000 way points, 50 routes, 10000 point tracklog and 200 record tracks, this one engulfs oodles of data. Energized by two AA batteries, it gets easily plugged in to Mac or PC through USB. Dakota 20 also has mind blowing add-ons like barometric Altimeter, 3-axis compass, micro SD card slot to enhance memory, cordless device to device connectivity so that you can share your tracks and routes with your mates. This very amazing navigation tools from Garmin are expected to hit the retail stores in the third quarter with the pricing of $299.99 and $349.99.
