Cricket with Samsung SCH-r211 basic phone
Sometimes
sticking to the basics and fundamentals matters the most and this is what Cricket
has come up with by announcing the availability of Samsung’s new entry-level
phone, namely the SCH-r211, on their network. Samsung mobile phones and
Samsung accessories definitely seem to be on a roll!
Samsung
SCH-r211 is not a surprise introduction as such as we have already seen how
Samsung Spex, the basic phone got introduced last year by Cricket. Both the
phones have got an impressive candy bar slide form factor along with basic
phone functionality.
The
only connectivity option available is support for Cricket’s Advanced Wireless
Services (AWS), which indeed makes room for access to ringtones; wallpapers,
and other downloadable applications from Cricket including Cricket Games and
Apps. The SCH-r211 carries a price tag of $90 and you can pick one up from
any Cricket outlets.
